Faces
Faces
I have always been fascinated with people and their stories. We are biologically wired to bond with each other. Early in my career I learned that you can practice just about everything in realistic art by practicing the face. I originally learned that the goal is to make everything exactly as the photo, but as I moved into caricature I learned that there is a LOT you can do to a face and still maintain a likeness. Now, I’m hoping to bring these skills and studies into sculpture. Whether it is for painting, tattoos, or something else. I am interested in hearing from clients who have been turned down for photo quality, and would be interested in allowing me to see if I can take the available reference and make something custom and unique. Maybe I can use AI to help clean up the images, maybe I can bring the available reference into an image and do a full sculpt. From there we could achieve any lighting situation and angle. This means if the project calls for painting a wall, a canvas commission, digital work or even a solid real-world sculpture, I’ve got you covered.
On a side note, I feel like I do not get the opportunity for caricature or character portraits nearly enough. So if you have someone you want to remember or celebrate in a unique way or even a cute or mischievous pet or animal that you want with you forever. I’m definitely into that sort of thing!
